Having participated in both capital raises at DLMV I know it well. the stock is still fairly cheap and I think prospects are still good from here. I own a bit of CROL as well. I like their Board, it is still cheap to book in spite of the run it has had recently but needs to make more money to justify independence. Please keep in touch. a faster way to reach me is @ pejt@bloomberg.net
Best,
PhilPhil Timyanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10406944702623010051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8448772781137071684.post-79833445270110204072020-01-11T05:20:29.886-11:002020-01-11T05:20:29.886-11:00Good Morning, I have been a community bank investo...Good Morning, I have been a community bank investor for 20+ years, I just found your website. I love it. I am invested in many of the shares you have reviewed including this one DBCP. I am curious to know your thoughts on DLMV and CROL. I am in Wisconsin, there are 2 privatley traded banks that are discussing going public in the coming year, Ill keep you informed as it happens. Again, great site! Just what I was looking for.lizcor68https://www.blogger.com/profile/13542902026500117855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8448772781137071684.post-9918457679790863652018-08-10T18:48:15.093-11:002018-08-10T18:48:15.093-11:00NICE, THX

There will be expense saves, it preserves the DTA, will use the DTA up faster, and is another example of one plus one being greater than 2.
Good Luck,
PhilPhil Timyanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10406944702623010051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8448772781137071684.post-63687219744605723692017-07-26T17:37:07.225-11:002017-07-26T17:37:07.225-11:00Just announced!Just announced! The Pro from Doverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06875893267187924120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8448772781137071684.post-57778360757018972362017-07-22T04:35:21.697-11:002017-07-22T04:35:21.697-11:00Thoughts on word that DBCP is buying LBBB?Thoughts on word that DBCP is buying LBBB?Axsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10699622010721455634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8448772781137071684.post-73582037453934981442017-06-15T07:13:07.109-11:002017-06-15T07:13:07.109-11:00Hello Yuanxi!

I'm not bothered that they are paying market rates for cd's. I think they are so close to 1% ROA that they'll get there. I'm most impressed with their Board and Mr. Lehman's influence. I don't think there is much for them to acquire, especially with their low currency.

Good Luck!
PhilPhil Timyanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10406944702623010051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8448772781137071684.post-32594186865839943852017-05-03T23:51:07.483-11:002017-05-03T23:51:07.483-11:00I happened to have talked to the bank a few weeks ...I happened to have talked to the bank a few weeks ago, what a coincidence! Here are some points that I don't like so much about the bank. 1. The deposit cost is at .75% and mgmt indicates the local market rate is similar. I am not sure if the deposit base is attractive to acquirers, though the bank does have a solid demand deposit base. 2. The mgmt doesn't have a solid plan for reaching 1% ROA in the next 1-2 years, at lease he did not articulate well. 3. The loan growth in the local market is fairly slow because the economy was hit hard in the crisis. 4. Mgmt mentioned making acquisitions but I'm not sure they have experience. The last M&A deal was a branch deal 9 years ago. I think the return depends on how much an acquirer likes this bank.Brandonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17626531874106235575noreply@blogger.com
