As for FRAF, it would be hard for an activist to build much of a position at these prices I think. If Snell wants to turn it over to someone else and remain independent, there's not much us shareholders can do. For pure cheap stocks, I love NCNB and SBBI. For a chance of a sale with activists, BFIN fills the bill for me. LPSB seems ripe as well.
Good Luck,
Phil
Phil Timyanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10406944702623010051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8448772781137071684.post-86383030385448107722016-02-27T07:08:43.863-11:002016-02-27T07:08:43.863-11:00Dear II,

Both very cheap with good fundamental trends, but seems like low probability of buybacks, any activism and even more remote chance of a sale? Yes the shareholder roster is a who's who in bank activism but the Tom O'Neill thing I don't understand. Why is he even there? It is one of the cheapest big banks I follow.

It's hard for me to narrow down to just three favorites in the community bank space, but for what it's worth, today I have orders in to buy NCNB, ASRV, BFIN, HFFC, LPSB, HBNC, and RGST.Phil Timyanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10406944702623010051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8448772781137071684.post-76690617820555431342015-08-03T07:53:55.433-11:002015-08-03T07:53:55.433-11:00I assume you still view this as a solid buy at $90...I assume you still view this as a solid buy at $90 currently?
